Light Regional Council supplementary election of Mayor

The LRC has a vacancy for the role of Mayor.
Nominations are open from 29 May to 12 June 2025 and voting will be open from 8 July to 28 July 2025.
You can nominate for Mayor if you meet the criteria and we especially encourage all residents to conduct research on the Mayoral nominees and cast your vote.
The role of Mayor cannot be underestimated. The Mayor sets the culture for the council and oversees the strategy, agenda and administration. The Mayor also plays an integral role in the council’s engagement with the community.
